QUICK START GUIDE
Safeandcompliant.net has simplified the task of being compliant with your federal and state health & safety regulations. We have already created your required Health & Safety and HAZCOM manuals and associated supporting documents. In this QUICK START GUIDE, you will be directed with simple step by step instructions for getting your health/safety and HAZCOM program implemented.
Step 1: Go to “My Safety Checklists”
These are self-audits that you should perform. Review each one and check off each item on the list as it is completed.
Step 2: Read about your reporting requirements
Review and understand who is required to report what and when, including who is required to file the 301a reporting form and the recording criteria.
Step 3: Print and read your Safety Manual and HAZCOM manuals
Additionally, these manuals must be made accessible to all personnel at all times and you must have signed receipt/acknowledgement for each employee/personnel on file.
Step 4: Post all required posters
OSHA required posters must be displayed in your shop or workplace. These may be printed directly or you may purchase laminated posters.
Step 5: Safety Data Sheets
A folder containing all SDS forms must be kept nearby all chemicals used by your company. This includes in vehicles and on job sites. If you would like Safeandcompliant.net to compile your safety data sheets, click on the link to upload and submit your list to us.
Step 6: Training
You are required to train your personnel, including temporary and part-time people, in all areas where they will have health and safety exposure/concerns. Review the training presentations and create a training schedule. Be sure to print out enough sign-off sheets for each employee acknowledging that they have received training for each topic. Keep these sign off sheets in personnel files.
